about

All songs were written and recorded by Jonah Haché with the exception of track 5, which was co-written with Amelie Collette. Most songs were written in reason and protools but crazy ol’ track 1 was recorded live off the floor with 1 mic and a couple of overdubs. I took a lot of influence as an audio editor at The Postman for television, which is why I use a lot of real life sounds like crashes, splashes , and
mechanical this-and-thats. To quote Winona Ryder pretending to be Bjork in an SNL skit “everything is music”. I could actually quote Bjork I guess, but I’m not that cool...
Thanks so many muchs and suchs to everyone who keeps me going. A big shout out to my parents Anne and Vernon Haché, Rémi Beliveau for helping me screenprint this, my friends Paul Goguen, Jeremie Boudreau, Mario Gautreau, Bones, Matt Williston, Christine Lund, Leon Boudreau, Les Paiens , Ian MacMillan, all of you in TBA Collective, Dan Gillis and everyone at Botsford Station, same for Aberdeen Cultural Center, Phil Flowers, Danderson, Geoff Moss, Chris Goguen, everyone at The Postman, and of course, the amazing Mike Ritchie (also known as Microcheese). This album should have came out last year, but I admittedly have put my solo material on the back-burner many many times for some other great projects. Most of these songs have been sitting in my “.wav vault ” for too long. It’s nice to release some of them. Environments such as The Laundromat, Café Aberdeen, Calactus and Plan B are what inspired the duplication of this album. I love you and am going to get you pregnant behind the KMART. Jussayin’.
